Be part of our team

We’re a small independent game studio based in Barcelona, passionate about creating games that bring people together. Whether it’s a party game played on a couch, at an event, or with friends around the world, our goal is always the same: make people smile.

We’re looking for curious, creative people who enjoy solving problems, sharing ideas, and building memorable experiences. If that sounds like you, we’d love to hear from you.

3D Animator (Freelance) – Blender + Unity

We’re looking for a freelance 3D Animator for a fast-paced cartoon low poly game, with a strong focus on movement and transitions. Blender + Unity. Hybrid in Mataró or remote, starting in November.

At Dust Games we’re developing a new, fast-paced cartoon low poly game, and we’re looking for a freelance 3D Animator specialised in movement and transitions.

What you’ll do

Animate characters in a cartoon style: locomotion, dynamic movement, emotes and interactions.
Work in Blender and handle export and integration into Unity (Animator Controller, state machines and blend trees).
Iterate with game design and programming so every animation has great game feel.

What we’re looking for

Strong skills in fast, fluid movement: it’s the core of the game.
Mastery of transitions and action chaining: we have a lot of them, and they need to feel seamless and responsive.
Solid handling of weight, inertia and exaggeration.
Portfolio or reel with cartoon or stylized animation; movement or gameplay examples are a big plus.
Experience with the Blender → Unity pipeline (FBX, rigs, root motion).
Nice to have: basic rigging and previous game dev experience.

Conditions

Freelance, hybrid in Mataró (Barcelona) or fully remote.
Collaboration starting in November.
