History

Our Story

Dust Games was born with the aim of creating different video games during the studies of the four founding partners at Pompeu Fabra University. Once their studies were nearly completed on 2023, they saw an opportunity to present the prototype they had created to a video game pre – incubation program in Barcelona, Level UP. Among the prototypes, they selected the game Roombattle for its market potential.

During their first year, they have been able to showcase the game at various events such as Indie Dev Day, Jump to Digital by Mobile World Congress, and Saga.

After that

At this moment, we are in the middle of developing our first game, the party fighting game Roombattle. Our team is part of the 9th edition of the GameBCN incubation program. As of August 2025, we have just finished the vertical slice and are attending our first Gamescom to find strategic partners to complete the development.
